Who are we and what do we do?

Tutor Talks is an educational consultancy specialising in English tuition for GCSE and A level students taking English Literature and Language. We offer online and in person classes. The consultancy was founded by Stephanie Ghoussain who has been teaching English for public examinations in the UK since 2005. As well as working as a teacher and lecturer across various colleges and universities in London, she runs private classes tailored to each student's needs and designed to reach their individual potential. She also runs academic workshops for groups of students with the aim of improving specialist skills in writing and critical thinking. She is certified in London and qualified to teach by the Higher Education Academy.

Academic success is not only about the acquisition of knowledge but also about learning how to learn. Success is in the hands of any tutee who is motivated to learn and equipped with the relevant skills of learning that a subject requires.

Our Teaching Style:

This means that lesson aims and outcomes are aligned closely with the student's personal goals and conducted in an engaging and relevant way to their subject's core requirements. Our lessons are interactive and students are introduced to self-reflective learning activities that will encourage them to reflect critically on their own work, building confidence and independence.
